Question 2 Week 7

So the ad I chose would be the ad for a pair of JBL Synchros for sale on Lazada. Not much copy can be seen in FB ads in general simply because there is just not enough space to jot down a lot so organizations who opt for this particular brand of advertising must KISS. ( Keep It Short and Sweet ).
For the most part this ad's copy in particular does it justice quite nicely in fact, The discounted pricing of the product is the first thing you'll read shortly after the name of the product or in this case the Headline which is a good thing for online shops like Lazada whom people visit to find cheaper alternatives to otherwise overpriced items of the same kind. It also instantly lets the public know what they will find when clicked on the link which is the continuation of the features of the product. This particular copy follows the rule that one must only say what is needed and not tell excessive stories as people are only interested to read what is interesting to them and nothing else.

  1. I think this ad is poorly created, because first of all the visuals is not attractive and probably in the first glance I won't get tempted to buy or even look at it even further. Maybe they had a limit with the space for the ad but they could have use it better like for example instead of taking a far shot of the headphone they could have took a closer shot to make it look more attractive. And the way they portrayed the price is not outstanding enough, probably using a different font or colour would be able to draw more attention.

  2. Actually this ad is not attract me.Normally, audience read the ad because of being attracted by the picture and the design of the ad or the headline. But, due to this FB ad is limited by the space that provided by FB. In my opinion,t his ad will just attract the audience who is the fan of JBL and also who is looking for cheaper earphone. The copy of this ad actually quite direct , it shows the price to attract the consumer first and then write down the unique selling point to the consumer. It will attract the consumer who is curious about he unique selling point of product to continue press the website link and reading the ads.

  4. I could say that this ads is straight to its point. But however, personally i will just ignore and think it as a spam. To prevent this happens to other audiences, i think the company should make the ads more interesting and tried to make it more attractive so audiences won't ignore and just keep scrolling the page.

  5. Looks like one of those ads that will simply be ignored, because of the poor dull visuals. Even if the product is good, customers won't be attracted to it if it's not presented well in terms of visual appearances.

  6. There is the positive and negative way in judging this ad. firstly, like what most of my team mates said, it has poor visual, Lazada could have done better. Consumers might not even notice this ad because it is not eye catching.

The positive point about this ad is, they did keep it short and simple and also straight to the point. viewers love those kinds of ads because it saves time in reading.Consumers rather read key points than a whole long essay.
